Sales & Marketing Executive ( Hotel Industry Only )
Essential duties & responsibilities
Develops and initiates all actions necessary and appropriate to achieve established sales department revenue goals and overall business revenue goals for the hotel. Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Hotel. Actively and consistently prospects and develops new sources of business for hotel through telephone, marketing and outside personal sales calls, and successfully converting potential business opportunities to confirmed bookings .Preparation and timely submission of Daily/Monthly Activity Report. Research and develop strategies and plans which identify opportunities for growth. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. Directly manage and coordinate client accounts. Represent the hotel at various community and/or business meetings to promote the hotel Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors. Research competitors’ products/services. Develop and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans .Helps department(s) to achieve objectives established in the hotels business plan. Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers and clients of the hotel. Manage online and offline sales revenue to set targets. Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels. Ensure all distribution channels are optimized. Play a leader role in the hotels weekly operation meetings. Produce accurate forecast on weekly and monthly basis (+/-5%) Responds to contacts for hotel information in a business-like and timely manner. Responds in timely manner to all leads and potential business opportunities for the hotel. Participates in sales meetings and brainstorming opportunities to increase sales results .Utilizes Sales Office systems consistently to maintain accurate, up to date information for all business contacts. Prepares and distributes internal/external correspondence, contracts, group resumes, rooming lists, even schedules, and other documents in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains trace dates for business leads follow-up. Monitors business trends and directs adjustments to Revenue Maximization Strategies Maintains organization of office for filing of documents, correspondence and business records.
